TOP TEN SONGS TO GET YOU HYPE
Welcome to the longest thing I’ve written since high school.
So I’ve been away for a long time. But I’m back, and boy oh boy do I have some opinions. Today I’m going to be doing something a bit different. A TOP 10 LIST! Specifically one that has haunted me to find a good one. These aren’t in any particular order. All of them however, are very hype.
TOP 10 SONGS TO GET YOU HYPE
10.) No Flex Zone by Rae Stremmurd
This song never disappoints in the hype department. Perfect for working out, whether or not it’s with your full body or only your fingers.
9.) Lie, Cheat, Steal by Run The Jewels
I absolutely love this song. The flow is just so smooth and perfect for running.
8.) Sweatpants by Childish Gambino
Call me biased, but there may be more than one Gambino song in this list. I love this man.
7.) Alpha by Periphery
This is less of a song recommendation and more of an album recommendation. Both of Periphery’s Alpha and Omega albums are fantastic and I highly recommend that you listen to both.
6.) Hurricane Season by Trombone Shorty
I’ve used this song to get hype since my sophomore year of high school. My marching band days.
5.) IT G MA REMIX (feat. A$AP Ferg, Father, Dumbfoundead, Waka Flocka Flame) by Kieth Ape
This shit right here is fantastic. I used to listen to this on repeat when I’d compete in Street Fighter tournaments.
4.) Only by Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown
Nicki and Drake go really hard in this track and there’s nothing like a good verse to get a nice running rhythm.
3.) Bonfire by Childish Gambino
This is my favorite version of this song but it IS on Spotify for your playlist making pleasure.
2.) Watch Out by 2 Chainz
This song is great for getting amped up for a run or really any other sport. Also conveniently one of my favorite music videos.
1.) Work REMIX by A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Trinidad James, Schoolboy Q
This shit is great. Makes you want to hop around like a damn idiot it’s so hype.
Like I said, none of these are in any particular order. All of them are hype as hell though, so if you’re planning on making an exercise playlist on Spotify or your new fangled YouTube Red be sure to include these 10 songs for maximum hype.
I’m definitely going to try to post more and follow me on twitter @qreilly21 to vote for your pick on each list! Next week’s list is Top 10 Weirdest Music Videos! See you guys next week!
